ICONS... ICONS....ICONS......HELP!

Tell me how to change my dammmmm icons and the color text :oops:
I hate the blue IE, green OL, my computer.... ect...ect :evil: I have made new ones but cant fiqure how to change? I feel pretty stupid.... :?

It depends on the OS that you're using.
In windows (95 and later) and Linux Mandrake 9.0 you should be able to right-click, and go to properties. From this point you would click on "select custom icon" in Mandrake, or "change icon" (or something similar to that) in Windows. I know this works with shortcuts in windows and I think it works with most other icons too.

I don't remember how to change the text color in windows and I just started with Mandrake so I don't know.

oh! ya , forgot .... I am using XP PRO. I can change the icons on my short cuts but cannot fiqure out how to on my programs (.exe) anybody know??

use a shortcut, or go to Display propteries->customise desktop. The second option allows you to change the icons for "My Coputer", "My network places" and "Recycle Bin"

I know a few programs that will change some of the windows default icons:

Microangelo

Both of these programs have the ability to change the icons. Microangelo is a little bit more powerfull, but it's shareware. More Properties is free, but there may be XP issues. Just search any of the names of google.
