Well, I don't know what to say about the lan party part, but I have Polk Speakers in my 94 Mazda (a ranger that says mazda...:-).

They sound great and a nice 10" sub would compliment them very well. check out crutchfield and your local best buy circuit city...it really depends on how they sound to you, not me. :-).

Im looking for ideas for the intermission sessions...

After about three or four hours of play there is usualy a time needed for a brake...

And yes I know about the headphones... Im not that discurtious to others...

All that I am looking for is ideas of what type of equipment is good out there...

Ive been to the stores and I was just wanting some user feedback...

If you got burned by a specific brand say something...

If there is some brand that you think is the best and you think I dont know about it yet say something...

Silence is NOT golden here.

Well here is my rig.. I am currently upgrading also.
Kenwood 728s for my amp
Kenwood KDC 3155 - Head Unit
Oz audio 10
stock speakers (looking to upgrade but for now sound ok)
Stealth wiring and amp hidden under seat.. (need new location as it is wet and snowy here sometimes)

I am going to be upgrading to a kenwood excelon KDC-X859 love that dmask feature- my wife always forgets to take the faceplate off and her sony got ripped off one time. (that was her jeep and her fault lol)

all of these components are in a 1996 jeep cherokee country 4dr.

I also want to get a type r 10. (alpine) or an infinity perfect.

oh well thats later down the road. I can still make people look when i turn it up and get that kick in the back feeling so I am pretty happy with it.

www.cadencesound.com -That is good stuff.. I have 3 10in Beast subs in my Eclipse and it beats really hard. The speakers compare with the Bostons I had prior. As far as amps go, I have tried a few but I really like LA Sounds for the price they are really nice. On my PC I use the Klipsch 5.1
