You guys might know this but I havent seen it posted. A USB linksys nic will work as a adapter for your ps2, just plug it into the first port on the front. I played Madden, NFL 2k3, NCAA oops 2k3, and SOCOM on it. I havent seen any news on a PS2 HDD anytime soon so its worth it even if just to download roster patches. When you configure your network config for your memory card it auto recognizes it if its plugged in. If anyone else does this let me know.

I just think that by the time HDD gets into everyone and games are devoloped to use it, PS3 will be about 6 months from droppin on us.

Burke you are mistaken. iwhat you are talking about here:the HDD is out now.. its for linux dev. 40gig, 10/100 base, mouse, keyboard kitIs as you mentioned for linux development and probably costs morte that the add-on HDD, which is rumuoured to be around $100. It is a fact that most gamers do not buy a lot of accessories for their console, therefore the number of games which will make use of the HDD will be less because companies do want to make a profit.
