I have a six-month-old laptop, which had a tragic accident. It was sitting at the edge of my bed and somehow accidentally fell of. I bought it in Best Buy along with an upgraded warranty. The problem was the power jack pushed into the Mobo and broke it. It would turn on but it would not charge at all. Since my battery only lasts 3 hours. They fixed it but the problem is my HD was formatted and they did a clean reinstall of the programs that come with the comp. I had 40 GB of data on it and I cannot remember half of it. All my important stuff is on discs like documents, programs, and movies. The problem is I had a crap load of other programs, which I rarely used but were helpful from time to time. Programs like antvirus programs, video players ect. Do you guys have any suggestions for helpful programs I can get off the net?
