Without the front cover (this thing is georgous).
This is not the model with the blue front grill, I may or may not make that effect happen.

Lian-Li does amazing work!
You can find 9800 Pro's for cheaper, unfortunately you may not be able to find an X800 Pro for a little while.. at least for cheap. Keep an eye on slickdeals.net! Also, go ahead and get a bigger hard drive, we're selling WD 120GBs for $85 in the bookstore I work at so surely you can find one cheap online. Termaltake makes great PSU's if you're looking for ideas on that. Great choice on the HS/F. ;) Creative Audigy's are coming down in price slowly but surely if you're looking for a sound card, the only thing to look for on a sound card these days is the 24-bit HD because that seems to be where games are headed.

Fan COntroller (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-883-001&catalog=255&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1)
I like this fan controller i have never tried it (for that matter never tried one at all) but it looks nice good features good price and good reviews so it is well good but i dont know from personal experience
As bigfat said get a bigger hard drive they cheap now i only get 8 gigs cause thats all i need i dont even fill 40 but hey. Onless u dont have money to(i think u do i mean ur gettin 64 bit cpu and other stuff) i woudl get bigger if u later down road need more u have it onless ur rly prown to only 80 gigs.NOt to be a brand hater but i would go wiht a seagate just cause i have personal experience with wd and there shit this one makes hela noise and slower than nails(in fact mine may be broken).
9800 pro is fine or go with this one lol (Fire GL Said Enough (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-102-347&depa=1))

Okay I decided while I am waiting for all the parts to do some cutting. First, I chose my figure that I want (I also think I might want the Plexi to be sandblasted to give it a better look)
Here is the cut I want to make (boy-oh-boy this is going to be tough!)
The case is black and the white is everything that will need to be cut out. Minus some smaller cuts, like the foot. I think it will only go to show the ankle cut out.

Here are a number of other pics (same image) with different color combinations. All opinions are welcome (NOTE: I'm a heterosexual male but for some reason the pink looks great to me, plus my girlfriend would probably like that more than just a half-naked woman in blue).

Okay, here are some color combinations that I whipped up. I would have to mount differenet color lights on the top and bottom. Or if sandblasted different LED's around it.

Sure why not?
I'm looking for advice on how to light it, and what color (or color combination) you guys like best. I know it wont look too much like that when done but I am mainly looking for advice in the lighting.
Thanx,

Okay so how should I print this out, so I can trace it onto my side panel (covered in tape of course) so I can cut it out. Any recommendations I think I want it to fit the side witout showing much of the drive bay covers. I guess I need to resize it to fit on more than one sheet of standard printer paper. But how do I go about getting the trace lines onto the tape (on the side panel)???
Any recommendations or tips???

Nice, welcome to the Lian Li club. I hear ya about the wallet hurting. I just ordered my first Lian Li and I'm now $255 lighter. I had a special need, where I have to cram everything and the kitchen sink into this case. I went with the PC-V2000B and at this price I'm not cutting a window in it any time soon. I might order a windowed panel just to make sure I don't screw it up like my last case. I have two nicely laser etch windows I'd like to use one day soon.
