XP System restore file sizes

does any one know the typical file size of a system restore point in windows xp?

Hey, it really all depends all on what you or windows sets. In the system properties goto the system restore tab. Just select the drive you want to change the amount of space and click settings. You can then adjust the amount of disk space used or just see how much is being alocated.
