http://img13.exs.cx/img13/7229/started_with.jpg
this is what i started with (well not this exact case .. this is dee's daughter's) but same make and model
http://img32.exs.cx/img32/9113/facereadyforpaint.jpg
face readt for paint .. there is alot of epoxy holding the port (a 4" PVC union) and there were (styling lines down the face which i filled with bondo)
http://img32.exs.cx/img32/9596/closeupofduct.jpg
plose up of the duct (HEY RedX i FINALLY got the Evercoat Poloyester glazing puddy to stick
http://img32.exs.cx/img32/6447/back01.jpg
here is wher the fun began .. there was NO place for a rear fan, and i had some 120mm's so ... a piece of 1/2" plywood inside and 1/2" outside, with fiberglasss and bondo to level it out
http://img32.exs.cx/img32/8708/insideofback.jpg
thats the inside of the back ... notice i put a piece of f-glass down the part above where the expantion slots (mostly yo hold the bondo on the outside) don't want any air other thatn the front & rear 120's

* Nice job Ed. What is that black material covering the intake fan?
it's stuff from walmart ... for in a window type AC unit ... it's a prefilter kind of stuff
it comes in like about 18X24" or so and was only $2. Works good too and is washable ... but you have to make sure it is COMPLETELY dry b4 you put it back in

* Krylon Fusion?*
not fusion .. regular Krylon "true blue gloss"
and i love the color too

120mm's fron and rear ... they spin slower and make less noise for the same amount airflow

Lookin sharp--those purple button supercases are my personal favorite modding victim as well. I've never modded a bezel that heavily.
Curious: do you still have the plastic bezel clips/tabs that hold it to the chassis? I seem to break mine off if I look at them and sneeze.

yeah the clips broke ... next time i take the bezel off i'll get another set of pics (CF card freeked on the origonal set) but i used 1" PVC cut the depth of the case, hot glued them in place and filled with poloyester resin .... held it up to the chassi and marked the 6 holes (2 on eack side twards the top) and my own in the bottom corners, ... then drilled them and put in 10-24 threaded inserts ... so now if you tried to take the bezel off without removing the screwes you'd need a hammer and chisel :)

Nice solution, I can definitely appreciate overkill. B)
