View Full Version : Best LAN Case?

i have a question for you guys. what do you guys think is the best case to use to build LAN PC? i'm talking about not just weight but also the features that would help make installation of hardware and cooling easier.

come on guys give me some input. thanks! :D

I would say LanBoy, but I'm a Antec fan.

Lanboys are nice and light. I think the best would be a SFF like the Shuttle or a FIC.

Indeed, anything Shuttle/MSI( I think Antec has started making the same kind of box like case as well) is great for transport. I got to play with one not too long ago, they are sweeter than the pictures. excaliberpc.com has a great selection.

Antec does have one ( I have it) it's nice, but you will have to mod it because of heat issues.

It's not bad, if you don't load it with stuff. Just keep it basic, simple and you should have no problems. If you're planing on add a GeForce 6800 video card then you will have problem. that card gets hot fast.

The Antec Aria case is a SFF case made of all alum but does have the heat issue. I had to mod mine and now its as cool and quiet as can be. If you are interested I can post links but my site was hacked as well and we are relocating to a new server and upgradeing the website.

an emachine case, I dont know what it's called, all I know is that it's small and weightless and very fun after you md it to hell and back.
