I want to take my old MEM card for my gamecube and mod it so I can see when the flashdrive is being read by the componets inside! I would also like to have a activity light for the componets inside! The first thing is how do i mod the flashdrive so i can do it? It would be nice to see what pins i have to sodder the leads to so it works!

Those suckers are pretty thin, and I'm not sure you'd get enough power to light up an led. But if you figure it out, start a work log, that would be pretty sweet.

Some of the USB thumb-drives have the same thing, perhaps some reverse engineering is in order?

maybe reverse engineering is in order! hmm all i need is some way to find out which one is power to power up the led.... and im not sure where the other would go. im guessing to one of the data transfer leads? im not sure of this myself but I do know one of the led leads has to be sodered on to a power lead to give it some juice!
