you can do that on dreamcast too, its alot cheaper sice you only have to burn cd-r

Xbox can run the emulators from cdrw and dvdr. I perfer just putting them on the HD so you don't have to put a different disc in for each system emulator.

Also Mame is just for arcade emulators. There are also xbox emulators for every old generation gaming system. The N64 and playstation emulators are really buggy for some games, but they are the newer of the old generation systems.
