which LCDs? The little 2 or 4 line ones most use for winamp adn MBM? or the monitor type?

If the little ones, serial or parralell? Pars are a LOT cheaper, from $8 and up. Serials start at about $40

Sorry, I was thinking monitor types. I'm familiar with Crystal Fontz and Matrix Orbital, but it wasn't what I had in mind for my mod.

Is there anything special I need to do to connect these LCDs to the mobo or will the connect to the SPDF port on the back?

yeah, i just bought a case with a LCD, but it connects to the mobo the same way the power button does, will it still work?

You guys got me confused (or just a bit behind the times) SPDF? ANd the same way the power switch connects? ( the little 2 wire dealies?)

I have seen mobos with LCD interfaces (not to be confused with DVI or VGA)

What case came with an LCD? Monitor or just like a little 2 line status type?

Maybe I'm remembering the port name wrong. who knows, I suck and was too lazy to look it up. I meant SPDIF. It's the TV-Out plug found on some mobos.

I know some VIA board have the LVDS01 ports, as well.

Ah! (the acronyms get nuts with 'puters!) I've seen SDPIFs used for TV out, but aren't they usually for digital audio? (Or am I mixing that up with another acronym?) My VIA board has the SPDIF port that can also be TV out. (though my Epox mobo has the SPDIF, but can't be configuredd for TV out.)

So, what was the original question? :P

For the male 15mph, for the female 16mph

Interesting.

And now back to... how would one hook the LCD screen up?

Well, if its conposite or S-Video out, then thats your answer. Need a LCD TV instead of a monitor (or one with composite/S-Video in)
