Anyone know the official release date? I can't wait after playing the E3 version just hope the final copy isn't so choppy... 40fps and under sucks.

Doom 3 is gonna be sweet, hopefully my computer will be able to handle it.

On the illegit side Im pretty sure ive seen it around, it may be the beta though.

it's an alpha, 1 demo and 2(3?) playable levels. It was leaked last fall after ATI demoed it on the 9700 at E3 i think.
we should see it late this year... if that means August or December we don't know.

trent reznor's still working on the scoring, isn't he? i hope he is, i think his work would add a whole new dimension of ambience to the game (opposed to the likes of q2 and q3's soundtracks).

but from what i've seen of the alpha, the game looks AMAZING :o sadly, i'll be needing a new system for it

i wont need a new system cause im jus gonna buy it 4 xbox. i wonder if it is more expensive 2 buy a new video card and processor or just buy an xbox and dom 3 with it?

lol.. na.. for $200 you could get a good card(ti4400) and XPproc.. the Xbox is only a Geforce3...

it is better than a geforce 3. when they xbox came out it produced/had the capability to produce the best graphics on all boards(pc and console) It basicly is an version of the geforce 3

Have you seen what modders have done to the X-Box with EvoX? the power is amazing!

I got my hands on one handed to me by an alpha tester
