well. i have a little guide on how to paint a case at my site (http://www.geocities.com/mikestuff004/mike.html)
if that helps you at all, umm you could look around just type a google search for computer painting, make sure you do lots of light coats.

im not sure how the new ipods/ibooks are done, but i know that the original white ibooks were clear plastic and painted white on the inside. by doing that, it gave it that weird effect of being clear and with a white background.. anyways. i assume that you could replicate that look by buying a clear acrylic case, and painting it white on the inside.

if a new case isnt an option.. the only thing i can think of is to paint the case white and then coat it heavily with a clear coat or maybe a clear varnish.. (i dont know that much about paint... sorry)

Thanks guys. christ3d thats the look im going for, so yea, maybe ill cover the actual case with plexi painted white on the inside, im trying to kinda make my puter look like a mac. i love that "Refrigerator White" that they make their computers in, lol. hmm, trying to do it on $20.i saw someone on tv using this kind of resin stuff on furniture, they put it on as a liquid and it gives a kind of a glass look to the surface and dries VERY hard, maybe ill try that. ok, thanks. Now off to Walmart at 3:01 AM lol.
