Hey, I was just wonderin, is it possible to change the X-Box dashboard, and backup games on an X-Box without a modchip?

You need:

* any Xbox (except for the Japanese version)
* the Xbox game MechAssault
* a USB memory stick (note that you will have to overwrite it) or another USB mass storage device, such as a SD card reader or digital camera (look at the XboxUsbCompatibilityList)
* an Xbox USB adaptor
* a Linux, BSD or Mac OS X computer with USB connectivity
