1Gig pc-133 (1gig ddr is in the mail)
ECS K7S5A PRO
1800 xp
Seagate 120 gig drive
ATi 9000 (which blows with linux)
SuSe 9.1 Professional



The only modding I have done is. The blowhole cutting out the fan grilles. And the northbridge mod. Artic silver 3 and a fan.

I love my ghetto wire management. I just wish the power plug wasn't so stiff.


Two reasons this comp sucks.

ATi card that has crappy drivers for linux.

And a ugly ass case.

I don't like the card because I can't always get openGL to work. The 3d support in Linux blows.


I think I did all right with the wiring since the case doesn't have a mobo tray.

I guess this is what you get for $30. :lol:

Yea, the ATi offerings in linux stink! Stink I tell ya! I use my Ti200 rather than the 9700PRO. Oh well.... someday hopefully.

Ya I used it for 4 years. I used the "Cheepoman BIOS".. allowd me to OC it a few.

The mod doesn't really sux, but to make it better you can always paint the case and you should be able to get a decent Nvidia card by going to www.pricewatch.com Look for a GeForce ti 4200, it's a nice card to use for linux.

I know what kind of forum this is. I did a couple of modifications to my case. :P I only think it sucks because some of the people do kick ass mods. Like CrimsonSKy for example. Everybody owns my ass in modding. So now you know why I said it sucks and posted pictures. Plus I wanted some input. SO you can chill out kiddo. :lol:
