Project: Desert Halo

I saw this pic Desert Brigade (http://bungie.net/images/games/halo2/wallpapers/BrigadeDamaged-800.jpg) on bungie.net, and it inspired me, so i am making a case ala halo 2, complete with a top mounted LAAG (Light Anti Aircraft Gun) the same as on the warthog in halo. This will be a long time coming, but i have the 3 barrels for the LAAG done.

Here are the specs for the PC:
Athlon 3200+
2x256MB Geil Ram
Sapphire Radeon 9600XT
80GB Seagate Barracuda HDD
400w PSU
I still need some pvc (for the laag housing), a case (duh), paint, sheet metal, hand glaze, and orange acrylic

What case are you going to use, or you going to make the LAAG itself a computer?

the LAAG is going to be mounted on top of the case, which will be just some generic beige tower that i will paint and scar up to look like my inspiration pic.

Hmmm terorist cops arest him ah jk. Mod will look ok but u need to show us more than 3 pipes i know u still planin but hurry up even if the pic is only a website that sells a case that looks like what u want. Just out of curiosity does anyone know if halo 2 will be out for PC i dont have a xbox and wont buy one just for halo 2.

Halo 2 will be evntually out for the pc, i wouldn't expect micro$oft not to branch out like they did with halo 1

Heheheh... now you may be wrong on that one. The only reason, and I do mean the ONLY reason Halo came out for PC is that one of the original developers actually promised the public that Halo would be released for PC. This of course happened not too long after the whole Microsoft purchasing Bungie incident. If Microsoft hasn't said anything thus far, than I highly doubt we'll see Halo 2 on the PC.

Keep us updated on this mod though, I'm very interested.

okay, i know its been awhile since my last update, but i got around to getting the gun finished. The last photo is of the chrome mount that will hold the gun above the top of the case.
