where is a good place to buy a soderless mod chip for the xbox that dosent mess up x-live and i can use it to back up my games??

Unless M$ is falling off their game you need to disable your chip AND use an unmoded harddrive to connect to live. They check for modified bios code and additional partitions that should not exist. If they find either you lose your account. I could be wrong, but I am not risking it so I moded my xbox to fit into a pc case and use a hotswap bay for the harddrives.
