This is but a small section of the mad that I am working on right now. It's an mpg so if you have a slow connect be warned. Thanks to Linear for the suggestions on this one.

Sorry to all who missed my presence. I started a company with a couple of other guys in June and have been really busy getting that going. I haven't had much time for intense mods. That's why I had to bail on Quakecon.

sorry for just the teaser but here is a shot of the fiber plate before paint and the wiring was done.

Nice work kisa!

Looks like you have it set up as an exhaust.

You have some extra goodies on that panel
have you decided on how to incorporate them all?

So, those wires all lead to little bulbs that light up the tubes and stuff? Thats pretty awsome! Will this be a side panel to a case or something?

Red, the fan is indeed an exhaust. It was easier to add the nosecone that way. The toggle controls the copper fan. The other four dials are wired to a rheobus behind it. The two orange lights are wired to two of the rheobus' to indicate voltage. They will light up at 7v ->

Linlin, the wires are soldered to over 50 leds that are embedded in the acrylic rods. I bonded the rods, bondo'ed them, sanded and then painted them electric metallic blue. If you look dead on now at the plate, you really don't notice the wiring as I took my time and wired them through the plate directly under the rods as best I could. They are also all Heat shrinked . The rods were all bonded to the plate and it slides into two rails to attach to the case. The plate will be behind a windowed/hinged, chrome side panel.

So sorry for not posting in a while, I've been on hiatus. I started a business and it has been eating my time.

I was trolling tech news last week and came across the case mod contest over at MSI. I thought to myself, I've got a week, this can be done. Finishing "Duality" has become my sole objective since last tuesday. I have less than 24 hours to put all the details together for this mod, but it is coming together and will be finished. I am waiting for some paint to dry right now.....

it flashes too. The FO plate is strictly aesthetic. Most of this mod is.
