i have an old power mac 5500 in my posesion that i got for free over the summer while the forums were down. now that there up and running i had an idea thats been floating in my head for so long i need to get it out and get some opinions on it. I want to take the old makc and bust out the old screen and use the old screen for a donation to my electronics class... nice thing to do even though they are going to smash it any way! I want to take the whole thats left and fill it with a LCD screen. I then want to take out the motherbaord. I would like to use everything else that includes the speakers in front, the IR sencor, the buttons, the head phone jack, and the drives. I would like some way of sparing these parts from being dismantled! I have one problem into doing all of this.. I dont know what to use to spare these parts! any input on this would be greatly apreaciated!

oh shucks. I thought you were gonna keep it a Mac. For a Mac mod, I'd love to make a Big Mac Attack case. Stuff it into a giant Big Mac box shaped case.
