how do i get rid of the windows pop up messenger

how do i get rid of the windows pop up messenger cause when im playing a game it kicks me off :(

find the my computer icon on your desktop. Then right click it and click on manage. Click services and applicationg and then click services. Scroll down the list until you find something called messenger. Right click that and then click properties. Find the startup type drop down menu and change that to disabled.

accually the "messanger" in services has nothing to do with msn.

go into messanger itself, options, "start at startup" tab.

or you could always uninstall it.

if you try to take it out of msconfig, it will just add itself back to the startup, thats why going into the app itself in needed.

how do i get rid of the windows pop up messenger(Hey Burke i think he is talking about the annoying pop ups things. At least that is what it sounds like to me. If it is the pop ups use the way that i told you earlier.
