ok im doing the freeipod thing and wanted to know whats the difference between the reg ipod and the hp ipod.

Oh there are so many diffrences. The HP model has the HP logo on the back and well thats the only diffrence. But they did come out with skins for the iPod that you can print out and wrap the ipod in Apple version or HP that are pretty cool.

That is the only difference, the logo. I called HP and they told me just that ;)

Actually there are some very important differences, particularly in the tech support area. HP will only provide support for PC iPod users, so if you buy an HP iPod for use with your Mac, they will not provide tech support for you nor will they be able to foward you to Apple's tech support. Also, the Apple iPods carry a one year parts warranty, and only a 90 day 1 phone call support policy. While HP I believe provides one year of unlimited phone support and warranty service.
