"My Recent Documents"

i have windows xp pro. and the only thing i hate about it is the stupid "my recent document" folder. i have my sertin viewing material hiddin away deep in folders. but when ever i finished up theres a link right there in my recent document folder. I delete the hole folder but the damned folder always pops back up after i delete it, most of the time i just forget about it!. any way of gettin rid of this folder?

i'm not sure about deleting it, but go to Right click the Start menu and go to Properties, then on classic mode go to customize and click the button that says "Clear" and it should clear it.

yeah i usta do that all the time in 98, im just wondering if theres a way to get rid of my recent document folder perminitly

right click on the start button, properties, advanced tab, uncheck "List my most recently opened documents"
