RTCW current news/mods:

Ever since the release of RTCW, there has been mods and such made for it. Not only multi player but single player as well.

For people who enjoy a good single player game to sharpen the skills, there is something called "TimeGate". Found here there is a download (about 80MB worth) of SP action. I have not tried this out yet. Pictures look good. I'll pull it, and just in the event my internet goes.. ill have something to do.

Also, there is something called " "The Dirty Thirties." lol -> look shotty, tommygun... ahh yaa. I have not tried this one yet.. but.. it looks to good to pass up.

Next.. is the Good'O Wild West Mod. I HAVE done this mod, and it's probably the funniest wolf play out there so far. Good maps, good~exellent mod.

This Friday the 25th Wolf Tactics is releasing there long awaited mod for RTCW. Can anybody say "Sentinel Gun"? And parachuting: This one will definatly make it to my PC.

Finally, the long awaited " Enemy Territory" 'Officiall' mod comes out. This is a free 'beta' and does not require you to have RTCW installed. When the full release of "ET" comes out, you will have to have your RTCW installed~ its an add-on. I have played this, and love it. Its 'beta' keep in mind.. and will improve.. but the idea of land mindes.. and taking the enemy clothes and pretending to be them just is too cool.
